Great American Cleanup 2012
Please join Keep Horn Lake Beautiful and other volunteers on Saturday, April 14. We'll meet at 8:30 A.M. at the Tulane Road entrance of Latimer Lakes Park to get litter pickup materials and a safety briefing. Volunteers will then join a cleanup team and proceed to an assigned area of the city to pick up roadside litter until 11:30 A. M. At that time, workers are invited to return to the main pavilion at Latimer Lakes Park for a light lunch.
This is an excellent opportunity for you to help improve the appearance of our community, meet some terrific people and get a little exercise and fresh air.
It's also a chance for students to get documented credit for community service volunteerism.
